Why are there so few female 'superstar' designers?
An investigation into the disparity between male and female graphic designers and how female designers are being under-represented by a variety of tastemakers.
The publication investigates various graphic design commentators such as Eye Magazine, Unit Editions and Intern Magazine etc, and questions their choices and reasons to why women are less represented in their publications. Responses from each were analysed resulting in a conclusion and final comment on how the issue affects women in design and restricts them from achieving ‘superstar’ status.
